Chef Emeril Lagasse
Chef Emeril Lagasse is a chef, restaurateur and best-selling cookbook author. He is the proprietor of eleven restaurants and as a national TV personality, Lagasse hosts Emeril Green, a new series exploring fresh and seasonal ingredients on the eco-lifestyle network Planet Green. His newest cookbook Emeril at the Grill was released in May 2009.
Chef Emeril founded the Emeril Lagasse Foundation in 2002, and the annual Carnivale du Vin fundraiser was launched in 2005. Through the generosity of friends and supporters of the foundation, children’s educational programs in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast have been granted $3 million in funding.
